me chamo jotavê, tenho 24 anos e hoje moro e trabalho em são paulo. sou formado em design gráfico (2021) e pedagogia (2022) pela universidade de brasília.
adoro explorar as possibilidades do meu trabalho através de diferentes técnicas, texturas e suportes – sejam elas pintura em guache, ponto cruz, ilustração digital ou realidade aumentada – mas sempre com humor e cores vibrantes estranhas. tenho muito interesse pelos projetos que envolvem ilustração e tipografia, principalmente os de arte-educação, editoriais e museais. minha pesquisa também gira em torno dos diferentes significados dos signos visuais que são considerados "fofos", da ingenuidade e da força oculta desse adjetivo.

my name is jotavê, i'm 24 years old and live and work at são paulo, brazil. i am graduated in graphic design (2021) and pedagogy (2022) in university of brasilia.
i love to explore the possibilities of my craft through different techniques, textures and supports – them being gouache, cross stitch, digital illustration and augmented reality – always with a lot of humor and bold-strange color combinations. i'm very interested in projects involving typography and illustration, specially the ones in art education, editorial, products, in fashion and museums. my research also revolves around the different meanings of the visual signs which are considered "cute", the ingenuity and the soft power of those adjectives.
